Furnace Services for Dickson County Homes and Businesses
When your furnace stops working on a cold Middle Tennessee night, you need a team that picks up the phone and gets to your home fast. Whether the system will not ignite, is blowing cold air, or has stopped running entirely, we are here to help.
At Quick Flow HVAC, we provide furnace repair and furnace installation for residential and commercial customers throughout Dickson County, Humphreys County, and Hickman County. We service gas furnaces and electric furnaces from all major brands, and we are a Bryant Authorized Dealer with manufacturer-level training on Bryant heating systems. Bryant’s top-tier gas furnaces reach up to 98.5% AFUE, meaning less than two cents of every dollar spent on gas is wasted.
Every repair and installation comes with a written warranty, upfront pricing, and honest recommendations. If repair makes sense, we repair it. If replacement is the smarter long-term investment, we will tell you why and walk you through your options.
Signs Your Furnace Needs Attention
Furnace Will Not Turn On
If your furnace is not responding when you turn up the thermostat, the problem could be a tripped safety switch, a failed igniter, a blown fuse, or a thermostat that is not communicating with the system. Call right away, especially during cold weather.
Furnace Blowing Cold Air
A furnace that runs but delivers unheated air often has a dirty flame sensor, a pilot light issue, or a problem with the gas valve. In some cases, a cracked heat exchanger can cause the system to shut down the burners as a safety precaution.
Banging, Popping, or Rattling Noises
Loud noises when the furnace starts up or shuts down can indicate delayed ignition, expanding ductwork, or loose internal components. Banging sounds in particular should be inspected promptly to rule out a cracked heat exchanger.
Pilot Light Keeps Going Out
A pilot light that will not stay lit is typically caused by a faulty thermocouple, a dirty pilot orifice, or a draft near the furnace. This is a straightforward repair in most cases, but it should be addressed before the system stops working entirely.
Furnace Cycling On and Off Frequently
Short cycling puts extra wear on the igniter, blower motor, and other components. Common causes include a dirty filter, a malfunctioning thermostat, or an oversized furnace that heats too quickly and shuts down before reaching a steady state.
Your Furnace Is Over 15 Years Old
The average residential furnace lasts about 15 to 20 years with regular maintenance. If your system is in that range and repairs are becoming more frequent, it may be more cost-effective to replace it with a higher-efficiency unit.
Furnace Services We Provide
We diagnose and repair gas and electric furnaces from all major brands. Our trucks carry common heating parts, so most repairs are completed on the same visit. We handle ignition failures, blower motor issues, flame sensor cleaning, thermocouple replacement, control board problems, and more.
When repair is no longer the best option, we handle the full replacement process. We size your new furnace using proper load calculations, remove the old equipment, install and connect the new unit, and test the full system. Most installations are completed in one day. We install Bryant gas furnaces with AFUE ratings up to 98.5%.
No heat in the house is a safety concern, especially during cold weather. Call (615) 326-7031 and we will work to get a technician to your home as quickly as possible. We prioritize emergency heating calls during the winter months.
Annual fall maintenance helps your furnace run safely and efficiently all winter. We inspect the heat exchanger, clean the burners, test ignition and safety controls, check gas connections, and verify system operation. Our maintenance plans include scheduled tune-ups and repair discounts.
Benefits of Professional Furnace Service
Restore Heat Quickly
We carry common furnace parts on every truck and offer same-day service for most repair calls. When your furnace goes out in December, you are not waiting days for someone to show up with the right part.
Keep Your Family Safe
A cracked heat exchanger can allow carbon monoxide to enter your living space. This is one of the most important reasons to have your furnace professionally inspected each year. Our technicians check the heat exchanger on every service call.
Lower Your Heating Bills
ENERGY STAR-certified gas furnaces in the southern U.S. are up to 11% more efficient than standard models. If your current furnace has an AFUE rating of 80% or below, upgrading to a 95% or higher unit means more of your fuel dollar goes toward actually heating your home.
Get the Right Size System
An oversized furnace heats too fast, cycles frequently, and wastes energy. An undersized furnace runs constantly and never keeps up. We size every replacement using proper load calculations so the system matches your home.
Warranty Protection
Every furnace we install comes with a written warranty from Quick Flow HVAC and manufacturer warranty coverage from Bryant. Professional installation by an authorized dealer ensures both warranties are fully honored.
Related Services
Considering a heat pump instead of a traditional furnace? Heat pumps provide both heating and cooling from one system and are increasingly popular in Middle Tennessee.
Annual fall maintenance catches furnace problems before they cause a breakdown during cold weather. Our technicians inspect the heat exchanger, test safety controls, and verify system performance.
A new furnace works best in a well-insulated home. Adding attic insulation reduces the heating load on your system and helps your investment perform at its best.
Leaky ducts waste heated air before it reaches your rooms. If your furnace is working hard but your home still feels cold, duct sealing could be part of the solution.

Furnace Questions
We believe every homeowner deserves a straight answer. No jargon, no runaround — just honest information from Dickson’s most trusted HVAC team.
still have questions?
Call us directly, we’ll give you an honest answer before you spend a dime.
How much does furnace repair cost?
Repair costs depend on the problem and the parts involved. We provide upfront pricing before any work begins. No hidden fees.
How much does a new furnace cost?
The cost depends on the size of your home, the efficiency level you choose, and any ductwork modifications needed. We provide free estimates, $200 off full system replacements, and financing through Synchrony with 0% options for qualified customers.
How long does a furnace last?
Most furnaces last 15 to 20 years with regular maintenance. Systems that go without annual service tend to wear out faster and cost more to operate toward the end of their lifespan.
What is AFUE and why does it matter?
AFUE stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. It measures the percentage of the fuel your furnace consumes that is actually converted into heat. An 80% AFUE furnace wastes 20 cents of every dollar. A 98% AFUE furnace wastes less than two cents.
Should I repair or replace my furnace?
If your furnace is under 12 years old with a single issue, repair usually makes sense. If the system is over 15 years old, has an AFUE below 90%, or repair costs are approaching a third of the replacement price, a new furnace is often the better investment. We will give you an honest recommendation.
Do you repair gas and electric furnaces?
Yes. Our technicians service both gas and electric furnaces from all major brands. We are also a Bryant Authorized Dealer with factory training on Bryant heating systems.
Do you offer emergency furnace repair?
Yes. No heat in the house is a safety concern. Call (615) 326-7031 and we will work to get a technician to you as quickly as possible.
How long does furnace installation take?
Most residential furnace installations are completed in one day. This includes removing the old equipment, installing the new unit, running gas and electrical connections, and testing the full system.
Should I replace my furnace and AC at the same time?
If both systems are aging, replacing them together is often the most cost-effective approach. Matched equipment performs better, and you avoid paying for two separate installation visits. We can provide a combined estimate.
What areas do you serve for furnace repair and installation?
We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Dickson County, Humphreys County, and Hickman County. That includes Dickson, Waverly, Centerville, White Bluff, Burns, Charlotte, Fairview, Bon Aqua, Kingston Springs, and Nunnelly.
